Opening Doors
In The WorkplaceSM
This workplace program is a highly interactive curriculum facilitated for prison staff emphasizing workplace conflict resolution and team building. Its principles are similar to those which support the Opening Doors® offender program.
The program is presented over the course of 3 days with groups of up to 20 prison staff members. The ideal facilitation team has at least one experienced lead trainer who volunteers from the faith community or is on loan from the corporate community. The lead trainer is supported by up to three prison staff members trained to facilitate the program.
Prison wardens have rated the program as among one of the most effective team building experiences their staff has ever had.
Volunteering your time to facilitate a conflict resolution, team building program for prison staff better equips them to help offenders with skills they learn in Opening Doors®. Experienced facilitators/trainers will adapt to the workplace curriculum with ease.
